My sons bicycle was stolen from the side of my house on Prancer St on Friday, July 21 at 6:30pm. It happened within 5 minutes of my wife and I going inside. A neighbor was out cutting the grass and saw 2 males riding off. One came from the side of my house. He immediately came to my house to see if I knew someone was riding the bike. We went off together in the neighborhood but didn't see the boys or the bike. My wife remembers seeing 2 teenagers pass in front of the house before going in. One was riding the other on the handle bars of his bike.

Just checking to see if anyone reads this site. I seem to have the only comment and that was made in July. I know of several crimes that have been committed in the area since then and it would be good to know that this site was used to inform one another of what is going on.

There was an attempted break in of my vehicle on November 7 at 3:00am. I hit my panic button on my remote and they ran off. They did damage my lock so I can only unlock the door with my remote.

It was two males with hoods over their heads. By their size they were in their late teens or early twenties. There was also a black or red camaro driving around at the time. That was what initially woke my wife up and it was still there when I looked after setting off the alarm.

I have lived in this neighborhood for almost 11 years. Its a great little place, making it thru the hurricane and seeing the changes that have come about sense, I'm really bothered that now due to the economy people have decided to put their houses up for section 8 in our community which is declining our property values and disrupting our neighborhood. Within the past 2 months I can no longer go outside in front of my house for fear that my young children will hear profanity from my new neighbors on both sides of the street. Its usually teenagers and younger with no adult supervision, there's no regard for personal property, everything is fair game whether its on my property or not, I have to constantly be on guard in the front of my house or in the backyard due to the neighbors being able to look into my backyard. I'm so disappointed by this situation. Just today I had someone write profanity on the side of my car just passing by this morning, Once again my little boy wants to spell it out and ask what does that mean, mommy? In trying to provide a better environment for my family sadly we are now ready to move.
